The annual Interservice/Industry Training, Simulation & Education Conference was held at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando from 29 November to 2 December. For the ninth consecutive year, AOS exhibited its array of simulation-related software including the latest demos for our CoJACK-VBS2 integration.
Andy Park, Director of North American Operations, represented the company as a member of the greatly expanded Team Australia delegation. Organised by the Department of Defence, the Department of Innovation, Industry, Science & Research, the Defence Export Unit and the Australian Embassy, the impressive new Team Australia stand hosted eight Australian-based companies who all reported a very busy four-day event.
“I don’t think there were quite as many exhibitors as last year,” Andy opined, “but it was definitely the busiest I/ITSEC for several years in terms of stand visitors – I was run off my feet.” In fact, initial post-conference feedback confirms this, as the number of new I/ITSEC contacts requesting further, in-depth discussions with AOS techs has already doubled from last year.
On behalf of AOS, Andy would like to thank Adam Seedsman, Amy Coull, Aurelio Aspiazu, Char Mahoney, Peter Hill and Terry Whelan for their outstanding job in making the Team Australia stand at I/ITSEC 2010 a resounding success.
