Through machine learning, the Kelpie targets and eliminates weeds like Serrated Tussock and Paterson’s Curse whilst avoiding overspray, offering an efficient and sustainable approach to farming. This is the “green-on-green” recognition problem – much harder than “green-on-brown”.
Kelpie has multiple uses apart from weed control, including assessment of pasture feed quality and soil carbon measurement, using an auger and spectrometer attachment.
